One of the perfect New York stops is the Waldorf=Astoria.  Being owned by Hilton, the Waldorf was restored to its original early 1900s spender during the 1980s and 90s.  The hotel has three main restaurants, including the famous Bull and Bear, and three lounges.  Also, the hotel has a spa sponsored by Guerlain.

Walking into the Waldorf you are greeted by friendly doormen and a quintessential staircase opening up into a grand foyer.  You next, walk into an emerald green lobby embellished with mahogany and gold pieces.

Nonetheless, the experience was great.  The doormen and staff got to know us, made us feel like family.  The hotel was beautiful and an essential element to a great New York City experience.
