Living in Winter Park, Florida I’m always searching for new restaurants and places to return- Park Plaza Gardens is one of them. Being open for over 30 years, PPG is a place where the locals dine; however, don’t be mistaken, this is no hole in the wall.
I frequent PPG on the regular and like to eat outside where I can see what’s going on- I think the cafe is the best part. The cafe menu has a good selection with a variety of healthy and the not-so-healthy options. I typically have the spinach endive salad with grilled salmon.
The cafe also has a nice bar with a good selection of wines and drinks. Right now they are offering a selection of wines that rage as low as $6. I tried the riesling and found it to be very good for the price. Additionally, the brunch on Sunday’s is worth your time.
If your wanting to dine on a more formal scale, try the main dinning room. Also, a good choice, most things are the menu are worth eating. In fact, PPG won an open table award for 2011.
For the most part, I really like Park Plaza Gardens- I think it’s the most consistent restaurant on Park Avenue. I would say the service, food, and crowd is slightly above average and is a great place to grab a quick bit.View Map For Reservation Please Call: (407) 645-2475
